The Kevin McGrath Trophy 2011

The competition in aid of Charity was held on the 8th May 2011.There was a total of £235 raised for the Charity Ty Hafan Hospice.

The competition was well supported by the membership and the fishing conditions were very good. Mostly cloudy with sunny intervals and a good breeze.

Nearly everyone caught fish and the quality of the fish was as usual brilliant the average weight being 2Lb plus.

The quality of the fish did raise a few problems with three anglers weighing in the same for second place 4 fish for 9Lb 12 oz.

But the outright winner was in no doubt with Mr Steve Blackwell weighing in 4 fish for 10Lb 7 oz Steve had bagged up quite early and spent most of his time advising other less experienced anglers.

Raffle prizes were Pair of flasks a fly box a bottle of Vodka and two bottles of wine (White and Red)
